This policy explains how 50/50 Realty LLC (“50/50 Realty”, “we”, “us”), a Texas licensed real estate brokerage (TREC #9013257), collects, uses and shares information when you use this website and our services. It covers this website and the information you give us through it.

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to submit through our forms, which may include:

• Contact and service requests — your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your preferred contact method and any message you write.
• Property tax consultation — your name, contact details, mailing address, the property you want us to review (address, account number or legal description), your role in relation to the property and the authorization you sign so we can act on your behalf with the appraisal district.
• Agent registration — the details you provide to join the brokerage, such as your name, contact information and real estate license information.
• Payments — when you pay a fee or an invoice, payment is completed on a checkout page provided by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details are entered there and are not stored by us.
• Agreements — documents you sign electronically are signed through DocuSign.

Information collected automatically

Visit source. When you arrive on the site, we note how you found us — the campaign parameters in the link you followed (such as utm_source) and the site that referred you. This is kept in your browser for the current tab session only and is sent to us only if you submit a form, so we can tell which of our marketing brought you to us.

Analytics and advertising tags. Where we have enabled them, this site loads measurement and advertising tags from Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. These services may set cookies or similar technologies and collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, your device and browser, and how you interacted with the site, under their own privacy policies.

Address lookup. When you type an address into an address field, what you type is sent to our address lookup provider, Geoapify, to suggest matching addresses.

How we use information

• To respond to your requests and provide the real estate, leasing and property tax services you ask for.
• To connect you with an agent of our brokerage who can help you.
• To prepare and file property tax protests you authorize us to make.
• To process agent registrations, agreements and payments.
• To understand which of our marketing is working, and to improve this website and our services.
• To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed brokerage, and to protect our rights.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services:

• With agents of our brokerage who handle your request.
• With service providers who operate parts of our services for us, such as payment processing (Stripe), electronic signatures (DocuSign), address lookup (Geoapify), email delivery and website hosting.
• With an appraisal district or other taxing authority, when you authorize us to protest a property tax value for you.
• With analytics and advertising providers, through the tags described above, where enabled.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our agents, the public or us.

Our social media accounts

We publish our own marketing content to our business accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok using those platforms’ official interfaces. Those connections are used to post on our accounts and to read how our posts perform. They are not used to collect information about visitors to this website. When you interact with us on those platforms, their own privacy policies apply.

Your choices

• You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us as described below. We may need to keep some information to meet our legal obligations.
• You can ask us to stop contacting you for marketing at any time.
• You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and use the opt-out tools offered by Google, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn for advertising.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and for as long as applicable law requires us to keep records.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
